    Death wobble - Let the fun begin!

    Hi, try swapping your wheels left to right. My dad's 110 had a death wobble replaced bushes, joints all sorts, swapped wheels round fine after that. Worth a try and doesn't cost a thing.

    Wooooooooow, I've have been reading through this thread for ages(it's so long). Sam, amazing disco very inspiring, I would love a v8 disco for off road but funds do not allow, so I'll have to just fiddle with my disco td5, but not for off road it's to nice for that(and expensive, to buy at least)

    Hi all, new to discovery ownership and enjoying it at the moment (hope it lasts) but around 2200-3000 rpm there is a metallic almost tinkerly:confused: rattle noise, I can hear it at 2200rpm at a standstill with the door open but it gets louder with more revs so closer to 3000rpm I can hear it...

    Td5 with a tdci gearbox

    It's smoother and keeps the revs in the power range. You have five normal gears and one for cruising, sure the top gear isn't to far apart but you could (if you want) up the gearing more with other components. I for one love 6 speed gearboxes and would love one on my disco, I am currently...

    Haha. I bought a disco td5 because 1.my gaylander has one or two problems:eek: 2.it's a gaylander and I wanted a real landy, sure there is a few things to sort out and upgrade, but loving it so far-hope it lasts.

    Litterally just wondering if anyone has fitted a td4 engine to a l series freelander or vice versa, would the fuel pump side of things be alright, and what about the electrics would they work. Any thoughts welcome.
