Sanana series 3 1978, or not?

Definitly is a Santana for the short rear door, rear tail lights (are universal Hella ones used on trailers as well). It should be from about 1972-74 for the interior and front lighs, can be one of the latest serie II-A which Santana mounted both headlights (the interior as spot lights and ones...

Series 3 Just bought this, and may need some advice in the near future

Welcome from Spain too (from the oposite side of the ountry). Typical spanish Land Rover Santana, looks so tidy and if you could manage this 1000km's it's not so bad. Try to adjust the steernig box and bleed the brakes and look for leackings on the servo unit and tubes. I'm sure with this...

This car it's been modyfied at some point because get parts from diferent years Santana models. The bulkhead and windscreen are from mid 80's and are not so good a s series III Land Rover, be sure it's no rust especially on the windscreen (so dificult to get a clean one) and feet (original...

    Santana

That were the lenses used on Santana "Especial" models (the luxury ones with headlining trim, "comfy" seats, seat belts and some other accesories). As said they were used on trailers and others here in Spain, I think are made by Hella but don't know the part number.

    Wiring loom

If you have bought a new one there will be no problems, just install following the old one. Maybe some added switches need to be removed or new wired but as said if you know to use a multimeter no problems. I'm doing a new wiring loom on my Santana 6cylinders and with time it's not difficult:

    Heavy duty suspension question

Yes, I did on the RRC and now I'll put the police springs en the "new" Disco. They fit perfectly and are a bit more hard that the original ones perfet for that extra weight you say.

    rear springs RRC

    Santana 109 Body Questions

"Especial" means the top of the Santana¡s Land Rover, wich were equiped with door clothes, some carpets sets, and some other "luxury" bits. The spare carrier is original, fitted with the last model produced by Santana, more reinforcerd than the original one. I think i'va one door with the...

    Santana 109 Body Questions

The piece attached is part of the original spare wheel carrier, wich I suppose was changed by the newer Santana design, the one in V shape more resistant wich is been removed on that car (by the difference of colour). The wheel arches i don't know where they came from but I think were an...

    Coolant loss

If anything in the engine it's OK can be the heater radiator. Mine only consumes some water during winter, in summer never needs to fill the level. I assume it's a small hole somewhere on the heater but when thinking in take apart all the dash....simply fill in the expansion tank.

Any difference between 2dr and 4dr tailgates?

I'm not 100% sure but i think they are interchangeable. I've one on the garage of a 3 door to fit mine (it's a 5 door) when necessary. On the parts lists are few numbers dependig on the year, beforfme 89-90 it's different between 2-4door model, but after that it's just one reference number.

    Classic Fuel Tank

Another related question: are the later plastic fuel tanks interchangeable for the old ones without any modifications? I've got one and would like to change if it's direct change. Thanks

    Caspian blue colour label

Is anybody with a classic in "caspian blue"? I'd be interested in the part number for the colour label attached on the engine bay just in front of radiator top with all the other labels. I'm trying to keep mine as original as posible and this part was broken an finally dissapeared on the...
