Hi all - thanks for the very useful pointers - I couldn't wait until the weekend and have had a fiddle about with the abs sensor - it wasn't fully engaged. I have now pushed the sensor back in fully, driven around for a few miles, and.......... Hey presto - all sorted!!! Thanks again -...

Yet another EAS question - but not the usual???

A little pre-tinkering update and further request for pointers..... I have managed to park the RR on level ground, for the last couple of nights, for the first time since noticing the drop in height - it now transpires that only the front bags seem to be losing air - does anyone know whether...

    Rear air bag removal

I concur! Having recently changed all four ags on my P38 - I had a hell of a game with one of the rears, dislodged the bottom, ripped te bag in half, fashioned a ratchet strap pulley and eventually managed to get it out with a pry bar! Persistence......... Good luck :)

    P38 2000 4.6 ABS & TC fault

Hi all, I changed the rear discs and pads on my 2000 P38 4.6 at the weekend - thankfully all came loose quite easily. Unfortunatley I had neglected to check the brakes soon enough and allowed the piston on the o/s calliper to over extend. I had a real game pushing the piston back and...

So, How totally fecked am I??

I've had a similar problem on mine (three out of four wheels ) - as the steel perished or just the ally cap? I managed to hammer a socket over just enough to crack the nut - had to hammer through the ally with a screwdriver and prise it off first

Yet another EAS question - but not the usual???

Hi all - quick update from today's attempts - height sensors seem to function well. Bags (although tired) do not appear to be leaking. Check all lines - also seem ok. As it happens, I have done 4 or 5 journeys today and around 100 miles & the eas seems to be working fine again...

What mileage is your Range Rover P38 on? (1994 to 2002)

Mine is an absolute baby - 78k on a 2000 4 - no where near run in yet - probably still on original tyres - but definitely not on it's original tank of fuel!!
