anyone out there put a performance chip in their td4? for that extra bit of grrrr. power is there in mine but soon as i hitch caravan on........ yawn!!!!!! especially up hills.

hello there,:) is there anyone out there thats had the same problem towing a caravan? i got freelander td4 53reg,thinking it would be great for towing my caravan 1.4t 23ft.... how wrong was i.:( gutless on hills and not that great on the flats. dont know wither to get a performance chip to boost...

year is 2004. 5dr. think it must be a top of fuel tank, cause that's were the whining noise is coming from. under rear seat. should it be whining all the time?

cheers, someone said it could be the fuel pump relay!!! think il have a look on ebay for fuel pump, just to be on the safe side

hi, just a quick question.the fuel pump under the back seat, did you get a whining noise from it? there is on mine and its refused to start a few times.when ignition is on you can hear this whining noise and when driving its still there, only when its not wanting to start i dont hear any noise.
