My indicators sometimes don’t come on when I move the stalk down. Is this a problem with the indicator stalk itself?

When I used a Nanocom recently, it said the steering angle was -171 degrees (I assume it should say 0 degrees), even though the wheels were straight ahead. Is this the clock spring in the steering column out of alignment? Anyone know?

Now sorted. It was an issue with an auxiliary alarm system that is fitted to my Defender.

I did have a flat battery recently so this might be connected somehow.

A quick look on Nanocom seems to indicate that the ECM is not being seen. Fault code U0100 - a quick look on various forums would indicate that this is not unique to many Puma owners. Err…I’m not too sure what to do next.

My 2011 Puma won’t start. I’ve not used it for a week and when I turn the key, the temperature gauge flicks to maximum. The battery is at 12.8v so it’s definitely not that. I’ll see if I can borrow a friend’s OBD reader.

On his YouTube video, he had his bed on the drivers side (RHD) and everything else on the LHS. It’s not really surprising it leans over.

A work colleague just changed the chassis over on his TD5 and I’m sure that he used a Puma one. I can’t really ask him to confirm atm cos he’s gone to Morocco for the winter.

I did ask that and they said they would find out the price of a new axle for me 🤷‍♂️

Update: Just spent 3 hours waiting in the local Land Rover garage whilst they fitted the new brackets. I thought it was going to be a complicated job but in reality, the bracket is held on by the radius arm bolts and would take 5 minutes to complete. Sorry for the poor quality pictures.

Removed winch bumper, winch and after-market radiator grill and replaced them with standard items.
