A quick update gentlemen :) Purchased a nice shiny new sync mate! plugged it in and..... single red flash:( not responding to wake up :confused: any suggestions as to next move?

I thought of using the original one but unfortunatly it wouldn't fit the plug for the engine loom and i was too parinoid to replace it, the new one is slighty different in as much as it has an extra plug for the egr. I wil purchase the syncmate, but there is one other thing that poped into my...

hi folks, I've been searching all night and all I've managed to do is confuse my self. The story first: a 97 dse engine replacement, went from 97 engine with no erg to a 98 with one, kept the wiring loom from engine intact and included the ecu that came with the engine. Everything went fine...
