just remember just coz there on a map dosent mean there legal to drive, may have had there status changed or may have a TRo inforce on them, check them beforehand with you local RLO or as quattro said join the Trailwise former wayfinder site through GLASS and you should be pretty much sorted...

yes mate, back on the road now, fitted a front diff and 200tdi prop to the rear now done away with the stupid tripod thingy on the back diff, and as front 300tdi diffs are easier to come by less trouble getting a good second hand one in future now, and they wear less.

its open to all newbies and regulars alike, july and sept are the faviorites so far, planing ahead so as every one can alter there leave acordinglly you can join for part or the whole trip, dont want a massive group so if intrested get on it now...

After the sucsess of last yrs 3day laning trip from south to mid wales and back, planing is on the go for this yrs and praying for beta weather than last yrs, as damm it was wet, this yr i is aiming to go for 5 days as last yr 3 days was not enough, even with 16hr laning days as we missed north...

i run two batteries on my disco, it is poss to conect them without all the fuss if you have a high output altenator, live to live, earth to earth, will give you 12v, live to earth and earth to live will give you 24v, i do this as a backup as i run electric winch and extra power on start up...

good on, fingers crossed it works out for ya,, and good just before xmas to, as i think there be a fair few folk looking for work in the new year way things is going...

yeah never did take a lot to ruin a day in the woods, once i had a family i gave up the work in the woods, not enough money in it, what u doing on the tractors then farm or out on hire...

Best one i found was a musket shot in an old oak tree, cutting away and all of a sudden cleaned most of the teeth off, looked in the choke of the tree couldnt see anything after i cleaned it out, changed the chain, bang hit the bugger again, such a small thing gave me a rather expensive day...
