I almost forgot: also to go with the above - a battery for the TD5 Defender - it's not new, but I swapped it out when my starter motor solenoid went tits up thinking it had bitten the dust. It hadn't. I've kept it periodically charged so hope it should still be OK. Cheers :)

I received some figures over the phone from the insurance company today and think I should now be sorted for a galvo chassis refit and repair of the other bent stuff. It looks like the beast might just ride again unless there are any other nasty surprises in the pipeline. We shall see...

Hi, the other party is now U.K. resident and insured here. I hesitate to tempt fate by saying this, but I think it just.....may...be sorted. With the luck I'm having at the moment however, anything is possible. Watch this space.

I have a couple on my phone, but it's ancient and I've lost the USB cable :o To be honest, there isn't much to see - a 90 with a deflated front left tyre, buckled steel hub and slightly scuffed/flattened front wing/door. Other than that, it appears outwardly mint.

I just hope you have more luck than me - find an absolute minter and then have some bastard drive straight into the front of you and trash it. Good luck in your search though - once you find 'the one', it'll be best motor you'll ever have. You're doing the right thing.
