    Noisy freelander

    I Recently bought a 2002 TD4 Freelander and tonight on slowing down through 3rd ,2nd and 1st gears a loud noise comes from the engine bay, a real clunking noise. Any ideas what it could be please. It doesn't do it when I accelerate in these gears. :( Mark
