Thanks for the replies. I am going to the garage shortly so will inform my mechanic. The bags haven’t been checked, is it straightforward to find leaks? Also would a low or poor battery cause the compressor not to work?

Sorry forgot to add, I’ve changed the relay in the boot and checked fuses. Also, I’ve done the lock to lock steering thing but hasn’t made a difference.
