well that solve that problem the slave cylinder went right through the arm of the clutch. And ended up on the back of an AA truck. Glad I had AA repair insurance So while it was being replaced had a new clutch fitted but the old one it still had some life in it

hi guys thanks a lot for advice garage found that the doughnut ring was in the act of destroying its self new one fitted now as good as new

thanks for the suggestions I was thinking the same myself but not sure it best to get a second or third opinion. it's a 1997 disco 300tdi so may time for a change

Hi all I noticed a vibration some time ago and now it has got worst It happens when it is accelerating under load in all gears and when going up hills when pulling hard but decreases when running on the flat. any ideas anybody

well hi Guys Guess what the clutch arm failed slave cylinder rod pushed right through so have new clutch now

well thanks guys as you say if it an't broke well it drives fine at the moment the only reason I asked is because it engages right at the top of the pedal. all I have to worry about is the clonk when releasing the clutch aand now you are going to say the transfer box.hehe

I had the same sort of problem with the towing light so went to main dealer and got another one from them and on the plastic case is shows how many lamps it takes. changed it and now ok dorothy J

Hi all I have had a disco 1 300TDI now for over a year when i brought it it had 128000 miles on the clock I do not know how it was used before I got it, in the year that i have had it there is not a problem at the moment. I use it most days and have been towing a caravan for 3 times in the year...

indicators suddenly stopped working replaced relay now blowing the fuse Could it be the MFU

I have the same problem on my disco but i don't have sunroofs so lining is sagging badly where they should be. I thought of stripping off the material and replacing it with a good quality white sheet but the adehesive might show throught any ideas. dorothy
