thanks just tried the microcat but it only displays the older type ignition where it is near you knee

it is in a different place but not sure if its the same switch though, it is in the centre dash to the left of the steering column under the radio / sat nav, I cant fathom out how to remove the dash panel to access it for the part number

cheers i checked reservoir pressure earlier with the solus it was reading 168kpa, not sure what that equates to in psi ?? assuming the pressure valve on the reservoir is reading correctly

there is no leaks anywhere other from under the drivers door but only when the door is opened, the reservoir is in the same area but again no leaks when all doors are closed, its as though something is telling the reservoir to empty all its pressure??
