if you are using a standard bosh maf which is functioning within spec it is best not to connect the maf part of the Synergy 2.

Just stick a hot air gun on them they will look like new but be carefull not to bubble the paint. maybe better to take the wheel arch trims off to do this.

Quick update on my unplugged MAF (now plugged in). I have done about 50 miles mixed driving today and the engine seems to have a much smoother feel and pulls better below 2k rpm. I put £50 in when fuel light came on so will see how the MPG goes in the next few days.

Yes its a manual so no MIL light on. It does seem to be running a little better but that could just be my imagination. I have been getting about 30 MPG if the maf is ok what should I expect to get i drive with a light foot and most trips are about 20 miles on dual carrigeways

As the title says what setting is your synergy set on. Also what results do you gain from that setting.

Will i be ok to fit my synergie 1 off my BMW 320d on my td4 or will it need to be sent back for reprograming.
