As most of you know I was fleeced by my local garage when I broght my N reg disco Tdi. Been having problems with loosing power while towing, so EGR valve has been blanked off and the fuel filter/sediment bowl changed/cleaned. Seems to have fixed the problem. Yipee I went. Silly me. :rolleyes...

I have been told that my 1997 Tdi 300 disco has two fuel filters. Found the one in the engine compartment - wheres the other one? I have looked in the Haynes manual and checked the Rave cd - still don't know what I am looking for! :confused:

Right, I know that blue smoke is the burning of oil - Bad. I also know that white smoke is most likly to just be vapour. Black smoke is what? And how much is considered to be normal if any at all. (N reg, 300 series, 98 500 on the clock.)
