I just wanted to say how nice it was last week when I was visiting friends in Cheshire. There were landies everywhere, and everyone waved as we passed. I live in the Scottish borders and you don't see too many landrovers around, and people never wave. I might have to move to Cheshire:)

I have just ordered what I thought to be the correct rear section of exhaust for my 110 van (p reg); well it looks about right, except the connecting ring has three holes (triangular shaped cuff) and the one on my 110 has two holes! So I guess I've got the wrong one!!!! The other problem is the...

Thanks, I've already enjoyed the rattling windows and noisy engine... that's part of the charm :rolleyes:. I'm not much of a mechanic though and I don't know any other Land Rover owners (other than here ofcourse) so it's good to have this forum for us that know 'nowt' ed

I'm getting high pitch whinning at 60mph and above, mainly in 5th gear! Is my gear box about to go caboooooom :eek: or is this pretty normal for a 300tdi with 160K on the clock? ed

spudly, thanks, I should have had a go with the key from my shed :D my wife used to own an old morris minor, you could open that with a nail file. They probably have the same locks :) and as for dealerships .....:mad:

I made the mistake of going into a landrover dealership the other day and would like to avoid having to go back to one but I need to get new door lock keys cut. The one I have is about to snap in half. Does anyone know if I can order them online or by post?

Hi all I am about to do the same thing. I have a 110 van, but would like to fit square (custom built) windows. Anyone know where to buy the glass and the rubber sealing strip. Also someone I know said I need a special tool (very technical person!!) for cutting the hole in the side panels...
