Well, nothing realy brave. I know my limits when it comes to reparing cars. I decided to have the transfer box reconditionned instead of swaping it with another used one. I saved money, purchased new chain, bearings, shafts, seals and other parts, and found a transmission expert willing to do...

I also have a scary clunk. Checked the propshafts also with brake drum out ... and it turned out there is an orrendous play in the transfer box output shaft. The chain is also probably tired. Have a look at your shafts and the transfer box.

Mine use to do this when the temperature outside drops under -5 C. In my case is just a dodgy temp sensor. The one on the gearbox oil cooler. Could be the same problem?

Hi and welcome. Try leaving it with an open door with the motor running for ten minutes and then close the door and select high and see if it rises. If it does it's a sign the compressor is running but it is not in good shape or there is aleak somewhere. Donload RAVE and take the time to...

Thank you all for your suggestions and advice. So far I have only tested the gauge and it is OK. I will change the pressure switch as soon as I have the time. It may take a while. I m quite busy at the moment. But I will do it and let you know. Once again thank you for your help

Yep. Pressure switch is new (but from s..tparts :o). Compressor is old but I've changed seal and cylinder and o-rings 5 months ago. After fully depressurizing the system it pumps pressure back to 105 psi in about 6 minutes. I think it's not that bad. But maybe it's time to go for a new one.

No it's not. The compressor stops. And than the air comes out and it starts again. but when running no air comes out

Yes I think it's trying. But over 105 psi you can hear a puff noise and then air escapes from exhaust filter ... and starts over again

:) sorry it didn't help. As said there is a thread on how to open the bonnet with a loked car. It is somthing like pulling the latch cable from under the engine bay if I remember right. I also advise not to smash the window glass. I would try to fix the bonnet first. At least don't smash it...
