Hi peeps, i am buying the boyfriend a soft top to go on his freelander, i have one due to arrive tomorrow but i dont think it has the two brackets with it, can someone please tell me what they are for and if it can be put up without it? Here is similar on ebay:- 111106424132

ok brake pads changed and have had car up on ramp, cv joints etc all fine, driveshafts fine, no nails and no stones but still doing the annoying noise, the garage done a pre mot test to see if they could find anything whilst doing that but no :confused:

apparently its not a broken mount its just the bushes need replacing, could this do it?? sounds odd that this would be it as if it was why wouldnt it start as soon as i get in the car??

Ok so I took the landrover to the garage and they have looked at it, they said my driveshaft etc looks fine but my front brake pads need replacing and also I have a broken engine mount, coould this be the cause of the clicking at all or do you think its extra's on top of the annoying clicking noise.

any help gratefully appreciated :)

i believe its the full propshaft that has been taken off it certainly looks like it. the wheel liner is definately not rubbing and inspection hatch has already been off to try to find source but couldnt find anything myself. do you know how many hours it should take to fit?

Hi again, ok so this morning I took the wheel brace off and I took the wiper arm off completely and pressed the wiper button and the bezel moved then I put the arm back on and tried, again the bezel moved but the wiper itself only moved about 2 inches again. Completely confused. Any other idea's...

i believe so but will double check in the morning, i know i can physically move the wiper from parked position to complete position, don't know if this is normally the case. typical it breaks in this weather lol
