Hi last week mine was doing the same,but when i close the door my glass goes up and on to the trim above the door,i have too push the glass down about an inch to get it shutting properly,hoping to have a look this wk end.

If you miss somewhere that you haven't keyed, it will definitely peel,done loads of plastics when i worked in a coach works,and it takes time and effort to get them perfect,the plastic primer still needs a key for it to stick too,so you need to get in every nook and cranny. Chris

Had my 2002 td4 es for just over a year now,and the only worry is the whine on the ird,the vcu is fine,been like this 5 months.

Mines the same,been told its a Ird bearing

Thanks Vertuas,doesn't sound like a milk float yet,funny thing is,i cant hear the wine under load,especially on the motorway.Ill get the oil level checked and changed,see if it makes any difference. Chris

My mate is a mot tester,and he said its a fail with a decat for Diesel,he said he wouldn't even pass mine,i had to put the cat back on.

Make sure they wax oil in side the door,even if they weld a patch in. Chris :)

That door will definitely be a hole when you grind off the rust,if your not getting a patch welded in, you will have to fiber glass it, then grind it off,then body filler,depending on the thickness of the filler you can use 40grit then 80grit,and to smooth the scratches out use 180grit,or you...

Update. Ive been in touch with the warranty company,and they want to have my IRD stripped down so they can have a look to see why its whining,but they want me to give the go ahead,so this means if they cant find anything Im responsible for all the labour, this is how they are going to get a way...

Try putting the baby wipe around a old tooth brush and scrubbing the corners,i use one to clean all the air vents when valeting works a treat.
