the weird thing is the v5 says the registation date is 1961, and that was the date the chasis number was added, how on earth does that happen. Think I will go to the series 2 club, and see if they can work their magic. although only gave £500 for it hopefully I can break it if necessary, would...

Added some chassis pics, they are probably useless though

the number is on the v5, however the chassis looks like a 'd-f' version. The area where the chassis number would be has alot of welding. Would it help to post some chassis pics?

Hi, I bought a series 2a which has a missing VIN plate. I am trying to confirm that it is actually LWB station wagon the VIN/chassis/frame no is 91100657, according to the V5 registration doc, which appears to be invalid, any one help? There is a picture of it on my profile.:doh:
