    Hm, how exactly do you apply the correct torque with box spanner? I do have a torque wrench and hubnut spanner but joining the two together to apply the correct torque? Shall I give heath robinson a call?

    Roof access step.

    You’ve all seen those door keep hooks, few work on Landys as they are off set by 20 or 30mm. Bought one as a test to modify it. drilled and tapped a couple of bolts in with a rubber furniture foot added. Now I can remove my Swiss cheese/rusty side runner step.

    forgive my ignorance but the unit closest to the PS fluid bottle is clicking away just as the engine dies. What fault should I be checking?

    Multi car reader.

    Any of you lovely landy folk know if an Icarsoft EU Pro is good for a 2004 TD5 110 and an 2016 Audi A4? 110 playing up, maybe ECU, parking brake release on the A4! Was hoping to buy a multi car reader to save the cost of 2 separate units. Cheers for any advice. G.

    ECU testing.

    Think I have a faulty ecu. Engine starts on turn over for a few seconds then dies, relay under drivers seat clicks off. What basic checks can I do to confirm it is the ecu. No warnings on the dash. cheers for any pointers. G.

    Sorry guys, don’t know the correct name/part number of the seal in the centre of the image, td5, 2004, how loose should this be? I can rotate it with my fingers! Should it be replaced?

    No not the paper storage or data types. Metal ones. I’ve been doing a bit work lately with Aluminium, was wondering how pro’s in the metal industry keep them clean. Wire brushing keeps the courser ones clean but what about the fine ones and needle files? Any tips appreciated.
