Sorry if I'm repeating posts but I couldn't find info when searching my specific problem. Which is: with my 2005 td4, just rcently the damn thing sometimes starts first time as usual and sometimes it just turns over, half fires up and then dies on me. If I give it gas it will then start up...

2006 TD4. Searched the forums and found a lot of useful advice on changing cables, etc.... but just before i wade in and take off the door panel to look, I just wanted to check something out. When I say the window is dead I mean it's fully down and makes no noise at all when I try to power it...

Tis the the season of paranoia.... I've noticed that my 05 TD4 freelander creeps along in first gear with no help from the gas. Is this normal? Maybe it's always done it but I seem to remember hearing sometime that it's not a good sign of something..... Am I just being paranoid?

hi all, just about to put my 2005 td4 in for its 24k service (it's second). Any suggestions on anything special extra that could be checked or done, or should I just let stealers do their usual bit... thanks in advance sadsack

Silly problem here but very irritating. A couple of days ago a folded down the rear double seat (2005 td4) to load some stuff and now when I want to lift it, the bloody seat won't come up because the central seat belt seems to have locked. No amount of fiddling, easing, swearing and thumping...

A thought running through my head.... if I were to change my 2005 freelander for a Disco (second hand), which one? The newest model just doesn't convince... too much electronics... want a good vehicle for week-end trips and mountain driving.... any ideas?

Hi, lurker turning newbie here. A question, my 2005 td4 freelander (original) stereo system speakers aren't working on the driverside. There wouldn't happen to be an easy fix on this, i.e. that could be a common fault? Or will I have to take off all the panelling? Or (miracle) am I missing some...
