Landy lance: if you broke detroit locker you will not be able to get replacement parts.. mine lying broken for 4 years in basement.. bought other brand then.. if you get other brand - you will save money in future..

hi V8jon, starter motor spins, so it seems ok. actualy iv connected leads like this, just battery is flat now, need to connect other one. distributor - theres 2 clips which holds cap together with distributor, iv positioned lead nr1 in right side of front clip and then continue clockwise...

theres holley carb fitted with some electronic unit, choke is regulated by this unit. i think fuel is ok, it smells when trying to start engine.. about link you gave, if understand well, when im in front of car then engine is 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 and wheres 1 on distrib cap ? thxx :-)

i think stat was already replaced by previous owner because there was waterproof glue/silicon around. and iv replaced it by one from paddock (order nr: 602687) dont remember if it was from britpart..

thermostat changed (82c) but problem is same.. (now even goes a bit more to red area, but it drops within 30sec to half). is there any special instruction for filling radiator / cooling system to avoid air locks ? txx brad
