    Busted Rover Freelander 2002

Well, on further investigation, it was a faulty fuel pump. $250 and it started up with no problems. As important as a fuel pump is to the opperation of an engine, one would think it would have it's own sensor. The other fault codes were caused by a lack of fuel.

    Busted Rover Freelander 2002

Mad Hat Man I disconnected the MAF and the car will not start at all without it. It starts sounds good and stalls in a few seconds with the MAF plugged in. Changing a MAF or a VIS motor is not hard but they are expensive. I want to be sure of what I need before buying it. Anymore information?
