New owner's list of repairs - any thoughts?

If it were mine, I would focus on the bits in red :)

    Door bottom repair costs??

I've never welded anything before, welded my doors up with a crappy welder. Not pretty, but put a grinder on it and it looks fine after paint. Not a structural part

    Air horn blows fuse

Put bigger fuses in until it doesn't blow in that case

200TDi - Why does my Crankshaft Sprocket/Gear move??

Given that you can actually get the sprocket a fair way forward, you could cut if off if you are careful.

    Air horn blows fuse

10A fuse isn't very big, most other horns seem to use a larger fuse than that. Have you got a link to the horn?

    Stolen doors and bonnets!!!

But the door hinges are held to the bulkhead by captive nuts of a sort, so you can just do those instead? The bonnet doesn't need any bolts removing to take off anyway? It just lifts off

Fitted new barrels - can still open with the wrong key!

They are still opening with a random key, or still opening just by putting something a few mm in?

    Trailer - challenge truck build

Just need to find that balance of drive smart and drive hard, then it should bring you some really good results! Any design for the trayback you gong to copy or go original?

    Trailer - challenge truck build

True that. I suffered the heavy damage of 1 cracked indicator lens, drove it home 160 miles today and all i needed to do was change back to road wheels. Must have been our lucky day!

    Trailer - challenge truck build

Looked like it! That's definitely the most damage I have seen anyone do at one of those challenges.

    Trailer - challenge truck build

Looked like a hell of a lot of bodywork damage at the end of the day! How did that happen?

    Trailer - challenge truck build

The way I have done it wouldn't work for a twin motor winch, it'd burn out the solenoids I think. If I was to do it for a twin motor, I'd use 3 batteries & the changeover contacter that red winches supply and put that in a sealed waterproof box (otherwise you will be forever cleaning it out)...

    Trailer - challenge truck build

Tidy from a distance maybe! 24V is a great mod, cheap as well

    Trailer - challenge truck build

Hard top! That's why we do class 1, no point in us trying to compete with buggys etc in class 2/3 in something that size. 12V/24V interchangable through front winch, ashcroft shafts & cvs, 4.11 ratio lockers, rest is pretty much what you would expect

    Trailer - challenge truck build

Yep,, did that series last year and doing it again this year. Class 1 for me, only used a rear winch at valhalla last year, and not using the lockers at anything except scotia

What class are you going in next weekend?

    Driver door lock barrel removal

Will take you no more than 15 minutes to strip the door down, there's really not much to it.

Does anyone have one of these (BA 125 wraparound diff guard)?

Got one. If you've not bought it yet, don't bother
