    2.5 Dse

About 3.5k for a very tidy colour coded blue car, cream leather, on 18" twin spokes.

    2.5 Dse

A chum is looking at an R reg 2.5 P38 but it has 140,000 miles on a BMW engine. It's priced very low but apart from looking at the obvious suspension etc, is he mad?

    Really Stupid Wheel Question..

How funny, I fitted 20's instead of new tyres too. The chap bought the car knocked £500 off the price because it needed 4 new tyres. I just put that saving towards the 20's so in effect they only cost £500!! I love the way big wheels look on the P38.

    Really Stupid Wheel Question..

Yes they look big but that's the intention with Big wheels, no? I went for 20's in the end because of all the ride quality issues I'd heard off. I never suffer any jarring with 20's. I saw your wheels on ebay, looked a very good deal.

Tired of holding the trigger on petrol pump

Shame, on my P38, it works a treat. Might I suggest a piece of softwood of the right width. Cost you nothing

Tired of holding the trigger on petrol pump

Yes, it's called a fuel cap. I always wedge the cars fuel cap in between the handle when I'm filling the Rangie. Saves getting cramp! Works on my Audi as well.

    Harmon Kardon Enquiry

Hi, I've got the Harmon Kardon system fitted to my 4.0 P38. I know that it is cassette and CD changer but wondered: -How many speakers does the system have (Inc the two subwoofers in the side panel in the boot? -How is the system amplified, does each door have it's own amp? -Do the subs...

Can anyone Recommend a good battery?

I fitted the Red Top with a bit of a wrestle. The Positive Cable was short but with a reaarangement of cables and it worked. Only annoying thing is that the battery mount no longer fixes down, I'll have to modify it slightly. This is more than made up for by the sheer power of this battery...

    Range P38 Wheel Questions

I fitted bigger 20" and wider 275" tyres and the handling has definitely sharpened up and the ride quality (believe it or not) has improved a lot (I did have very naff tyres on before, balding all over the shop) I'm not going to pretend it now handles like a 205, it's a Range Rover and...

Can anyone Recommend a good battery?

Indeed. Landrover want to charge £105 for a heavy duty battery Red Top is £126 Halfords is £87. Apparently the Red Top is very, very good at stoving off the cold. Expensive and is gonna look a bit funny in the all black engine bay. I am tempted though. As for the...

Can anyone Recommend a good battery?

Well, I'll worry about the electronics letting me down when that occurs. I have found two batteries from BAT MAN UK. They have 625 CCA 75 amp/h £54 + VAT Not Sealed 550 CCA 70 amp/h £51 + VAT Sealed for life Obviously 625 CCA is preferable, what about...

Couple of quickies about the P38

No idea I'm afraid. I have only been a Range Rover owner for a week and I won't be able to look at mine until the end of the week. Why don't you start a new thread entitled "Is this the right CD changer for a H-K P38"
