    Thanks folks, Disconnecting the battery didn’t help :/ It doesn’t leak but the screen does take ages to clear if it mists over - I’ve always put that down to the fan being a little half-hearted - perhaps it drips some onto the CCU. Does the CCU suffer if it gets wet other than the earth...

    The next time I'm in the workshop (I'm off on holiday tomorrow) I'll try and remember to photograph the dodge I tried on mine.     you will burn out the seat back elemant if you do that mod!!!! There are seat back elements? I think I need to follow this up - also, mine never tires of telling me that the seat heaters are faulty on the dashboard display. Cheers, Roy
