Yes, sorry I forget not everybody has a V8, in fact I'm guessing that the majority of people have the TD5, my mistake :eek: For what its worth, and anybody needing to do this on a V8 the belt I just took off is a 7PK 1801, which I think might even be the standard TD5 with aricon belt possibly?

I have modified the belt routing picture from Rave so you can see how it fits :- Assuming it does not rain this evening I'm planning on fitting the new pipe and original belt when I get back from work. If not it will be Sunday or Tuesday as I'm working tomorrow & Monday.

Hmm, there is the question, i kept it after the last time. I'll be taking it off in the next day or so when I fit my new pipe, so I'll measure it then and hopefully we can find out!

Remove nothing, the belt routes just fine. It's a trick I picked up from an indi a few years back when I first had a problem with the ace.

Mine is faulty at the moment, just got a new pipe to fit. I have a smaller fan belt on right now which just misses out the air con and ace pumps. Not ideal in the summer :) but does save the ace pump!

I have found euro sized grey boxes similar to these very useful. I buy mine from http://solentplastics.co.uk/stacking-plastic-containers-boxes/ which seems to be a good price. They also have the really useful box range that offer other sizes but are not as strong.

If it was commercial use it would need to be using a tacho as well.

Why so many connections to a beacon bar? Guess it does something mor interesting than a couple of beacons!

LOL There are a lot of connectors that would do the trick. I'm not near any of my catalogues as they are in the office but check out the multipin bulgin connectors on Farnell or CPC. I forget the range, but they plug in then a screw lock ring fastens them against a rubber seal.

Fixed the squealing from the brakes the other day by sorting out the seized guide pins on the pad carrier. Can't hear me stopping now :)

Just thought I'd share with you guys that I upgraded my Nanocom (original) today to the latest version (1.08) and was able to program the suspension remote I got of ebay 18 months ago! It all works now, so very pleased. The old version only let you program slots 1 & 2 for keys, so its great...

You say you are in the middle if nowhere, make sure you can get LPG easily. You don't want to be going out if your way to fill up all the time. I have a V8 and it's done 145k ish, with the last 45k on LPG and its been fine, only hot time has been because of a water leak and most of the water...

Also a software developer and I second these thoughts. Hoping for some D2 bits to be added to this, but if everybody buys the clones I guess it won't be happening anytime soon.
