    Prop' same for all years?

It has been a real pain.......all told seven/eight (at a rough guess) garages/LR independents/gearbox specialists just can't be sure what the problem is, they all think different. Plan is to get a decent prop' on there which takes that out of the equation. Prop, gearbox pinion bearings, transfer...

    Prop' same for all years?

It's a long story TD.....but shortened down I had a problem with the car, one afternoon I heard a bang from underside (might/might not be connected to issues) then a metallic spinning noise from NSF, 'clink' when on/off power and gearchange felt/sounded wrong...took it to an independent and...

Afternoon All, Forgive my inactivity for years but been more of an infrequent reader than regular poster, my FL2 has been mostly trouble free for 120,000 miles plus so have remained a little smug....until now. Anyhow.........can someone please tell me if Freelander 2 2.2 diesel manual cars...

    newbie......

It seems as more and more FL2's come of age, the diff' problem worsens...even the service manager admitted there was a big problem with them, which was nicely reassuring, then proceeded to tell me there's no telling when they can get hold of one:doh: unless i'd like to pay an additional £400 for...

Evening all, new member wanting to pick the brains of a few seasoned vet's here:) I have a FL2 which i've driven for 18 montrhs without a problem, yes really I have, it is now though in dire need of a rear diff and after much hassle with LR I need some advice in getting it sorted elsewhere!?
