Hi all, Its been a while since I posted as I had parked-up my P38A 4.0 V8 HSE for several months - only driving it circa once per month to keep it rolling. Just turned 96000 miles and still looks a million dollars in Java Black. I can hear that the brake servo pump running for around 30-60...

My ( Thor V8 engine) alternator is not charging the battery but no warning lights on ..car just stopped dead.. Put multimeter on it and only 11.7 v at battery when running at 2000 rpm... Alternator dead ? or does it get a signal to charge from Becm ? if so how can I test for that ?

After much debate I've removed the 20" Stormers fitted with 295/40's and fitted 18" Hurricanes ( shod with 255/55 Bridgestones ) .... wish I had done it a year ago ! No more manic tram-lining on bumpy /uneven Irish 'B' roads....:D The wife says I no longer look like a pimp driving through town !!

How big a job is replacing the oil seal behind the front crank pulley @ oil pump casing ? what all needs to be removed to get at it ...?

Hello all, I only drive my P.38 the odd weekend ( MY2000 4.0 HSE ) and have noticed with it sitting about unused in my driveway that the inside of the front windscreen is misting up with condensation badly especially with the cold weather. I have checked the carpets in front and rear foot wells...
