    It is worth it? FL1 2000 1.8

Errr not to bad at all to be honest. Had a couple of niggles but nothing like the heart ache the P38 caused me. Granted the P38 has more of a sense of occasion, but the Jeep has power by the bucket load.

There are not HG issues at all, so could be worth the punt and there is a market for just 2WD freelanders.

    It is worth it? FL1 2000 1.8

A good friend of my wifes has a SWB Wreg 1.8 Freelander, She is looking to replace the car as its cost her a fortune over 12months and she wants a newer FL. Now she says fortune but I have spent a lot more on my V8 Jeep in the last few months but its all reliative I guess. I enquired into...

    No Dash lights, intermittent electrics

Did that last night, made no difference. Battery been on charge today, tried both keys. Still remains the same. Does this Freelander have a body control module? Could that be at fault?

Key Fob but not the normal question

Because chances are high that he will loose it, (his health isn't great and memory is suffering) As its my only key not a risk I want to take.

Key Fob but not the normal question

I have done a search and understand that a used fob cannot be reprogrammed but thats not what I am after. If I had a key cut, just a normal key with no fob / electronics in it. If the car was left open or unlocked using the fob would the new key that had been cut start the car??? Only ask...
