I have changed from coils to air. The best thing i've done! Have a look to see whats left of the air suspension under the bonnet and also height sensors etc.

I've changed one of the coil packs. The misfire has gone but its still running rough. So I'm thinking that there's a problem with the maf. If i keep the revs up and unplug the maf the engine still runs the same. As there's no one here to help me I cant take it for a drive with the maf...

What should the resistance reading be? I've done searches and looked on rave but I cant find what i'm looking for. The readings i'm getting for the HT connections are 13.0, 13.1 for one pack and 13.2, 12.6 for the other. That reading was taken with the multimeter set at 200k. Thanks

Should have also mentioned, it only mis fires while driving. If left to idle, it is fine.

I've had an intermitent misfire that i'm trying to diagnose. I think its the coil pack. It usually misfires when the engine is cold, but its started to do it at random times even when the engine has warmed up. I have disconnected the MAF, the engine cuts out immediately. I have also changed the...

Yea, the battery was helped to discharge by the reverse and headlights coming on during the night for some reason. I think my battery is probably on its way out, I'm going to have it tested and replaced if needed.

When you lock the car, what lights come on to tell you that the alarm is set. Since I bought the car the tail lights and side lights came on for a second, but today since the re-sync the indicators flash instead. :confused:

Ok, quick update. I came downstairs last night to find my car with the headlights and reverse lights on! No idea why, but I pressed the lock button on the remote and they turned off. This morning, no suprise I had a flat battery. The syncmate turned up today, and after a good few hours charge...

I get around 20MPG as an average with mixed driving. But dont forget that these vehicles weigh quite a bit and have the aerodynamics of a brick.

May need a re-sync with the becm.

Thanks, I was looking through rave and i'm sure it had it next to the eas compressor. Just got myself concerned. Is anything supposed to be bolted next to the eas? I've got 3 bolts with nothing attached to them.
