i have a HS 2.8 TGV motor in my defender 90 which is basicly a development of the 300tdi im getting between 28-33 mpg these engines where built by international motors in south america theyve taken the 300tdi and bored and stroked it and put bigger turbo

im looking at lifting my 90 and not sure wot parts i need to do so i have a pair of scorpion cranked rear arms and ive been offered the suspension from a disco that had ba 5 inch lift would these parts fit

im changing the whole axle as the diff has let go big style and ripped through the rear casing, do i still have to measure the studs

a mate of mine who breaks landys said they the ratio is the same in axles just different in the box

i am today gonna start stripping the axle from my army defender 90 as the rear diff has let go and come through the casing so ive just got a td5 complete rear axle and gonna swap it over i dont think it will be that hard to do ?, any thing to look out for while doing it, it already has rear disc...

superpro are the best poly bushes ive found ive fitted them to lots of 4x4's and never had a problem yet

well im gonna start to take my other army defender apart later to as the diff has come through the casing so got a td5 complete rear axle to fit then give it a bit of a paint with some fresh nato green

i have just got hold of a landy 90 with the International HS 2.8 TGV motor in it, i have looked at the paperwork and the conversion was £7044 in november 2004 and its now done 55,000 miles, the engine im told is worth a fair bit of cash so prob end up breaking the truck

the landy has now got tax on it and im driving it about and it pulls really well

ive today bought myself another landy its got the tgv 2.8 turbo diesel which was developed by ford i think? the conversion was done in 2004 on this truck and it cost £7000 its also got discs alround and disc handbrake and santana lt85 box etc etc
