Hi all i have recently had a new a electric socket fitted to my towbar and ive been today to check it works with caravan,and it does but when i come to disconnect and set off home my clock wouldnt work or interior light or stereo...Ive just been back to garage and he said it as nothing to do...

omg!! The most simple solution and no one else as even thought of just opening the back door lmao! There I was thinking we would have to replace are alko ball with the swan neck for the back wheel clearance.:doh:

Hi all I own a Freelander 2000 2.0di model,and im looking at replacing all 4 tyres. Which is the best size for my 16" alloys?im looking at either Bf goodrich or general grabbers. I am planning on keeping on all the time as we tow a caravan aswell,which do you think will be the best...

Iv got michelin synchrone m&s 215/65/16 on my 2000 freelander and so far so good.But would like to change to ats next winter,just cant afford at mo and tyres are still good.

Hi it was diesel!! just been to my local 4x4 dealer who checked it out.1 of the spill pipes had a tear in,so he replaced(free of charge)problem solved. Thanks for all advice ;)

Hi it dosnt seem to be losing fluids,I am going to check it again tomorrow because i am now wondering if it could be diesel.I thought the diesel smell on hands was because I had just been to fill up.If it was diesel would this be much of a issue?:confused:

It cant be rain water because it is abit greasy.also it is leaving marks on drive.

Hi I noticed yesterday some marks on my drive coming from my freelander 2000 di.My husband had a look and he said its come down in front the sump.....it is a clear substance with no smell but feels greasy.Any ideas what it could be please????:confused:

Is this a good thing or a bad thing? Will this effect the performance in the snow?Should I be worried not having it?:confused:

I thought on a 2000 model abs would be standard???:confused: oh well its not a major issue not having it I suppose.Thanks
