hi on the front coupling, is it the torx bolts at the back of the coupling or the hex bolts at the front of the coupling?

ok so problem is worse when turning - and also looks like the rubber joint (vcu?) looks like it is not sitting centrally as if it's been knocked off where it should be but not sure if that is right or not. Also happens when freewheeling. Any of this point to one thing more than another? thanks

thanks Ratty, Rimmers don't have it and I have yet to hear from the other line of enquiry - how can it be an obsolete part? There are still so many on the road!!! Think it may have to be fabricated!

Can anyone point me anywhere that I can source a 'tank strap' for a 2001 TD4? MOT up on the 28th and garage has told me it needs changing - Landrover have it listed as an obsolete part and so far none of the aftermarket places the garage has tried, have one.:eek:

ah sorry - got lost in the 2 discussions that were going on - the pump in the engine compartment and the TD4 is 2001. couldnt see a pump in the rear wheel arch?

ah, I didn't consider that roadside would be able to do any of that. only with green flag as it comes with the bank account! the pump was goosed anyway but it still isnt starting so guess I will just have to wait and see!
