got more of teh storey from the wife as it happened again yestersday...she drives along and it drops power for a few seconds then power kicks in again. The engine management alarm is dispalyed. She said it looks as if the software or in her words 'something' has rebooted

and goes off again....or so the wife tells it, It has never done this with me driving but she say she will be driving along and all power will be lost and the car slows to a stop she then starts the car up and fault is cleared and off she goes. happened twice now ...any ideas what is wrong? just...

PS just a quick question ..I have a 57plate disco3 and when in mudruts program it makes a funny scuffing noise and applies the brakes....but it only does this sometimes anything serious to worry about?
