The front air bags were replaced a couple of days ago but the EAS was fine last night, then the starter motor gave up so it was jacked up this morning to get to the starter. Then the EAS issues arose. A few weeks ago the EAS played up, I think due to a slow leak in the front air bags.

Does anyone know the name of the threaded plastic part here in red which screws into the air intake and connects an oil breather pipe to the drivers side rocker? I managed to snap mine on the weekend.

Nothing happens temperature wise but with the ignition on and engine off I think I can hear the servos/motors moving the flaps.

Is there a way to test them without a fault code reader?

No I don't. Does anyone in Leicestershire or Northamptonshire have one to check? I'm in Market Harborough.

The Landy is in Lands End and the guy is near London so its a bit of a trip. Apparently he will sell it now for £7k. The chassis has been "patched and painted" so not sure of the true condition.

That's what I've found, all the hoses at the top of the engine are hot. What isn't hot is the small hose between the bottom of the radiator and the bottom of the thermostat. That stays stone cold along with the radiator. I think I may have an air lock on the system. Been reading about that...

Yeah I see your point. I'm more worried about the alarm module failing whilst super locked. I'll try and clear the message then just normal lock from then.
