    Disco 300tdi Brakes

Well it's still not solved. I replaced the master cylinder and it seems to be a bit better it seems to be loosing pressure between it and the servo. I'm going to try the last 2 suggestions as I have only just got back from the Lake District. (Had to leave the landy behind!)

Right.... I have done another complete bleed the old school way. No air car out whatsoever and I went thought the reservoir twice.

    Disco 300tdi Brakes

Well when I pump it absolutely nothing happens. It doesn't become stiff it stays exactly the same. I will blew it again the old school method and see if that works.

    Disco 300tdi Brakes

Could it be the master cylinder has gone? What would it do if there was an air leek into it/it stopped working?

    Disco 300tdi Brakes

No I left the pipe work attached on the master cylinder. And just carefully pulled it out o get the servo out.

    Disco 300tdi Brakes

It was rock hard but now has a lot of travel before any pressure is felt. That changed after the new servo.

    Disco 300tdi Brakes

Right.....I am properly stuck now. I have a brake problem which started with brakes like a brick! Very hard to push on and limited response. Checked the vacuum pump and its was sucking fine. So changed the servo. Now the pedal nearly touches the floor. Tried/done so far: Bearings checked...

What have you done to your Landie today.

Yeah it will be fine. Mine is still running on 5w 30 after I went to the Arctic. (Had to change it for -40c!!) It will increase the chances of you having an oil leek though.

Hi all, I was looking for the reason why I had a complete lack of power, up hill especially, and realised that someone had taken the actuator arm of the elbow joint connecting it to the valve. I tried to put it back on but it has siezed (well I can move it but it is so difficult to move!)...

    Off road campers

What about the military landy ambulances. That would make a good vehicle. Although it would hit your wallet hard! The off road camper costs about 20 grand from aus.

    Headlights fluctuate!

As per usual there is a problem with my landy! Whilst driving my headlights will randomly brighten or dim (not dangerously). It has absolutly nothing to do with RPM or anything like that. It also happens in full and dipped beams. Any help would be great, this has really got me puzzled...

    Off road campers

I've looked at doing that but I wasn't sure if the caravan would hold up to the stress of off-road work.
