Hi all,

I was looking for the reason why I had a complete lack of power, up hill especially, and realised that someone had taken the actuator arm of the elbow joint connecting it to the valve. I tried to put it back on but it has siezed (well I can move it but it is so difficult to move!)

How can I get it to unstick? Will I have to get a whole unit? (I was hoping to avoid this as it would involve taking the manifold and stuff out!)

Any input would be greatly appretiated,

Thanks in advance,

Jason

WD40 is the best fix for this and a pliers or small hammer to work it back and forth until it moves freely

should i put wd 40 straght into the pipe for the wastegateor just up the actuator arm as far as I can get? (Sorry if i'm being a bit dim!)

you will need to pull quite hard as diaphragm which actuator attached to is like a stiff spring ,i use air line to blow the rod out carefully through the little pipe feed from turbo
