Thanks for the reply, it was Landrover who told me both vehicles had same engines fitted according to chassis numbers… what can you do when the vehicle manufactures don’t even know what they’re talking about lol.

Ahhh that makes sense, I did think they had different engines but Landrover jaguar in Bolton are completely USELESS and according to there Reg and Chassis number they both should have the same dipstick, I pointed out that one engine had a relatively “higher” dip stick tube that the other but...

They are both 65 plate vehicles, both from the same batch and fleet as they are ordered in lots of 20 at a time depending on where in the UK or what district/NHS trust there going too.

Any body got any ideas? It's got to be a fault somewhere that makes it NOT UNLOCK BOTH back doors, as sometimes it unlocks them all.

I've had this problem befor on my p38, I did a hard reset by disconnecting battery and connecting main wires with jump leads for half hour, this takes all power from ecu and this seem to do the trick, might of had sod all to do with it and just a coincidence but you never no with these cars...
