lol ty just had cambelt done the crank pulley had a bit missing where the key goes but its still doing it but not when foot is on brake mmmmmm strange :confused::confused:

back to the clonk when i stop engine it dont do it if i put my foot on brake ??? wtf could it be :(

yes there is some damage where the retaining pin goes that bit has been broke off i will try and get a pic looks like he started it with the retaining pin still :mad:

ive got 3 of the bloody things in my shed now and 2 lift pumps not sure what works and what dont lol :p

keeping my fingers crossed now that once its all back together the problems are fixed i will put a update on here once its all done but your post has given me some hope :)

im getting there ive just been out with dad and fitted fuel injector pump :) i just want her back on the road

could this be the cause of some of my banging and knocking :confused:

ive ordered a new one and new keys they should be here tuesday i was told the key slot in crank looks ok but i can only go on what i have been told :)

thank you for the info me and my dad are going to get the fuel injector pump fitted this weekend and leave the crank pulley replacement and the timing to a proper mechanic he only touched the crank pulley and said .... well this aint right b4 he had even took it off and looked at it so hopefully...

right update had dads mate over and the bottom crankshaft pulley that takes the timing belt is f***ed the bit that takes the woodruff key has a big lump missing so has slight play so new one on its way :)

i might be wrong but ive just looked at some pics of the timing and had a good look at mine and i think :confused: bottom pulley on crankshaft may be 1 tooth out but will need it to be looked at by someone who knows to confirm will keep u all updated :)

ok cool i will get down to wilco this morning to get some they should know what i need i hope :) im just praying that when i get the injector pump fitted and the timing checked properly that she runs and i dont have to get rid of her :( pump should be here today then just got to get it fitted...

thanks for that i will get some loctite today :)
