Hi Paul, I was just thinking exactly the same for my new installation! I've a hand throttle in my 2a, and it's very useful so want one for my 110. Could this fitting bolt on to the carb mounting studs? and the little tab activates the quadrant shaped part where the throttle cable fits? Andrew

Hi All, OK, so engine is in and running fine after some issues - condenser failing, distributer clamp loose etc etc, but generally very good super smooth & quiet. One question though, is the idle adjustment using the screw below? seems to be the only adjustment I could find. I did a web search...

Hi, I noticed item 11 in the parts picture below, I do not have this on my gearbox, is it important? I'm thinking of course that it will affect the position of the release lever etc? Thanks, Andrew

Hi, Does anyone know the correct torque settings for the LT77 bellhousing to gearcase bolts? I can't find it in any the manuals I have, the only thing that might be is in the LR workshop manual is what they call 'attachment plate to gearcase' but I'm not sure. Thanks, Andrew

Hi, I'm now about the install the 2.5 engine, can you tell me which of the connections on top of the swirl pot is the feed from the pump and which is return to the tank? Thank you :-) Andrew

No, I don't really know the design behind the solenoids, my carb has 2, and it's on a 2.5 17H engine, first time I've seen one of these, so all a bit new to me, but interesting!

Sorry to jump in on this oldish thread, but I've just got hold of a 2.5 petrol with the weber carb with the 2 solenoids, If you have time, can you please tell me what these solenoids are connected to, ie when should they be powered on and when not? Also if you have a photo of the installed carb...
