Hi Paul, I was just thinking exactly the same for my new installation! I've a hand throttle in my 2a, and it's very useful so want one for my 110. Could this fitting bolt on to the carb mounting studs? and the little tab activates the quadrant shaped part where the throttle cable fits? Andrew

Weber Carb Solenoid Test? Electrics Help!!

Yes thanks, that info really helped, got it sorted this afternoon, then had to dismantle the brake light switch as that decided to become intermittent! MOT booked for Tuesday, so fingers crossed. The 2.5 is lovely, just as quiet as my 2.25, and with the bigger exhaust on the 2.5 it sounds even...

Weber Carb Solenoid Test? Electrics Help!!

Hi All, OK, so engine is in and running fine after some issues - condenser failing, distributer clamp loose etc etc, but generally very good super smooth & quiet. One question though, is the idle adjustment using the screw below? seems to be the only adjustment I could find. I did a web search...

Hi, I noticed item 11 in the parts picture below, I do not have this on my gearbox, is it important? I'm thinking of course that it will affect the position of the release lever etc? Thanks, Andrew

Weber Carb Solenoid Test? Electrics Help!!

Thanks a lot Paul, I'll have a look at my steering col surround.. see if it's got a hole :-) I do have some kind of bracket with black plastic surround, but I think this may be for a hand throttle. Cheers, Andrew

Weber Carb Solenoid Test? Electrics Help!!

No, I don't really know the design behind the solenoids, my carb has 2, and it's on a 2.5 17H engine, first time I've seen one of these, so all a bit new to me, but interesting!
