sorry sierrafery i didn't know the v8 used the same auto box, i used to have an xjs v12 and have been in a few xjs 3.6s and aswell as the v12 if you just title the 3.6 it goes so when i found out they used the same box in the d 2 td5 i just thought thats why, the engine is too under powered...

Hi guys just been doing some research on the d 2 td5 auto box ( being sluggish ) and found out that the td5 auto box is the same as used in the jaguar xjs 3.6 auto ( 4hp22 ) the td5 engine is 135 bhp and the xjs 3.6 engine is 225 bhp so obviusly the td5 engine is well under powered for the...

t b h before 12 months ago i have always had series landys and have always used paddocks if i needed parts for them and touch wood never had a prob with them hence the reason i always use paddocks, 12 months ago i bought my first disco a d1 300tdi which is the one in question which was last...

yeh i want to put some good stuff in like castrol magnatec, halfords £36 for a 4ltr can or motorworld say they don't do it in anything ells but 1ltr bottles at £11 a bottle so thats £66 + £20 for a filter kit from paddocks so that works out at £86 just to change the oil and filter if i went that...
