Is it a difficult job?

Hello, i have a defender 90 with disco axles and disco alloys. I would like to put these alloys onto my other defender which has standard axels. but they do not fit. I thought about putting spacers on but then the threads wont be long enough. What shall i do??? Can you buy specific defender...

Okay thanks for all your help. i did have a little play with it again today, but no luck. SO i got an auto electrician and he fixed it in 20 mins!!! with a little gadget detecting the fault. only cost me £15 :)

I have the earth bolted to the inner wheel arch and the black wire heading through the bulkhead. these seemed to all have good conections. is there another i may have missed?

Every time i turn on my headlights my drivers side, side indicator comes on, it does not flash just stays on. It also looks like it is taking some power away from the divers side headlight too. The passenger side is perfect. Can anyone help with this problem? thanks, stuart.

Im happy to say i have got bought another landy :) Its going to be a bit of a project, but will be good fun. My new one has a 200tdi but my written off one still one the drive has a 300tdi, is it going to be difficalt to change the engines over ???

looking for an aluminm roof rack for my 90. was looking at steel powder coated but i was told not to buy one as once scratched they will rust. galvinised, im not too keen on the big "squarenes" of them. please contact me :)

Im quite a tall guy, and i was reading up on ways to give me more leg room, i found the seat riser but it is about £70 to buy. Does anyone know a diffrent method that is cheaper? thanks.
