Hi My 1999 Freelander suffers from a transmission judder on start-up. Happens on first start-up. Does not happen once wamed up. Feels like judder is at rear not at clutch?

OK, my fault, I think I have rotated the steering column whilst fitting a new rack. A new airbag rotary switch is VERY expensive. Ideas on a cheap fix appreciated.

There is a new heat shield that fits over the exhaust 2146K01 for £18. Should reduce heat transfer to radiator. It needs a bodge bolt on one side for the old manifold - I used an exhaust clamp. Plus some lock wire at the bottom. Should be useful in reducing HGF risk.
