Dont have any access to diagnostic equipement , no air or fuel leaks , checked the timing , changed a rotten fuel pipe , filter to tank , new filter new pump , new relays , swapped ecu for another from a runnin car , so far no better

new fuel filters done , fuel pump relays changed , ecu changed for 3 differant 1s , even changed the fuel pump , no change , looking at coil later but now out of funds

Must say im erring on the side of fuel , she starts on the button perfect an ticks over right nice , just cant drive her so i dont think its electrical

I had a new fuel pump fitted when i did the boot fllor last summer , i assume its ok but worth checking

When your driving along a normal road she jus looses all power and starts stuttering , power coming and going , you think she gonna die then she goes then back to die again , just keeps doing this , ticks over all day long fine as you like , checked for air leaks , none ,

Compression ok 12 bar and above all cylinders , changed fuel ecu , getting sufficient fuel , plugs mostly normal , a bit black but i put that down 2 the stuttering and fuel not burning correctly , checked the normal leads cap arm etc , been out there all weekend , no better

Changed relays , no differance , the final stage resistor was reputed to come from a working car although i can't prove that , blower works on 4th setting only , wires not crossed as its all plug on plug off , ive changed the heater unit and even the switches on the unit

Resistor pack , this being the bit that lives under the scuttle panel , you can see it through the vents behind the bonnet next to the wiper motor ? if so already changed it , no differance

Not really sure , ive put a earth from the alternator 2 the chassis an i take the window fuse out , battery stays charged enough 2 start in the mornins , ( so far ) but the symptons change daily so like i say , not really sure , i no nothin bout electrics an its got a couple sparkies confused ...
