    Heated Windscreen Doesn’t Work?

It looks to have two connections one in each corner. Although the metallic strip that runs along the bottom of the screen is broken in the middled, but it’s meant to be this way. I‘ve checked the continuity of the screen and it is good.

I have a 2.2 Defender and when l pull away in first gear l get clunking slightly juddering. It doesn’t help that my main car is an automatic and lm forgetting how to drive a manual. However, l can easily and smoothly pull away in second gear with no juddering etc. Will this cause damage to the...

    Puma Aircon Leak?

Hi, l’ve just bought a 2013 2.2 Puma with aircon which doesn’t work. I’ve taken it to Halfords as they offer a diagnostic service that checks for leaks. Basically they pressurise the system with nitrogen and check for leaks using soapy water. They’ve done this and checked all the external items...

Help in identifying my front axle?

Hi, stripped it down and l look to have the bearing type swivel housing with a Raiko top pin bush, the drive shaft looks to have 24 splines. My question is, l’ve bought a DA3178 swivel kit, the top bearing type, will it fit the swivel housing?

Help in identifying my front axle?

I emailed the previous owner and he tells me that the axle is off an 04 110. But if this is the case, would the swivels be Teflon coated and there wouldn’t be a drain plug and level plug in the housing?

Help in identifying my front axle?

Thanks for your reply, l will try and post some photos. But l forgot to mention that the swivel housing has a drain plug and a level plug in addition to the fill plug, which l’m assuming is for ep90? The defender was registered in 1999 and rebuilt on a galvanise chassis by the previous owner...

Help in identifying my front axle?

I have a Defender Td5 and l need to change the swivels, however, axle doesn't look to be standard to the vehicle. The existing swivels are chrome and not Teflon, the wheel bearings are the old adjustable type, and the axle serial number is stamped with a series of little dots that make up...

    Td5 injector slide hammer

Just an update, I removed the injectors with two Allen keys. I started with a 4mm and worked it loose with a 6mm. I’m really pleased l did it this way as you get a feel of the injector and it’s not as violent as using a slide hammer or an adapted pipe wrench and hammer.

    Td5 injector slide hammer

Hi, does anyone have a Td5 injector slide hammer that l can borrow or hire in the North East. I need to change my injector seals and l cannot justify spending a fortune on a tool that l will hopefully only use once? Alternatively does anyone have one that they will sell me at an reasonable price?
