just got myself a disco xs everything works but the hi lo and diff lock light on dash dose not light,the lever moves up & down but cant tell if it works any idea anyone:confused:

Just sold mine same problem told me big ends as owner before me never changed oil and oil went like tar only owned it 1 day gutted

seems like they are talking crank regrind as well as shellsthink its better to change engine

got this 2 days ago owner befour me didnt change oil,oil light came on then went off so diped oil was ok bit thick on cap,it was only when i came to lights that it was knocking on oil light was on. took 2 hours to plunge oil out off engine poured deisle down to clear pick up pipe and took rocker...
