Thanks for the reply James. So am I right in thinking that I don't need to open the swivel pin housing? Are there any gaskets or seals required except for end cap gasket? Or can I just buy the cv joint on it's own? It's just that I've seen cv joint "kits" that come with all new seals for swivel...

Hi everyone, just had my 98 300tdi in for MOT and she flew straight through! However one of the advisorys was that one of my headlights is dimmer than the other, MOT tester said it's probably a bad earth? Any ideas anyone? Thanks :)

My 300 TDI has this machined hole, thought it was the bell housing drain plug been left out :confused: turns out it's supposed to be there for some reason :D
