That is a real shame, have you looked on eBay to see if there are any subs on there? Must be a scrapped Freelander floating around somewhere that could sort you out. I thought about putting a bead of silicone under the lid of the cubby to keep the wet out.

If I were in your position I'd consider using/getting an iPod. You can then buy a pretty good adaptor that fits into the tape slot.(go to ilounge for reviews of em and type the best one into a search on eBay) This way you dont have to rip the dash apart and no limitation of 6 CDs....and of...
