Thanks to all for your help. Think it is the ignition switch. Have a new one on order, unfortunately its the 'official' Landrover model @ £50, but less than the garage wanted to investigate!!! Thanks again :crazy_driver:

Thanks OldIrishWulf - all ideas gratefully received. Will take a look at the earths as well. On a different note have you heard about the surf reef off Bournemouth, we live a couple of miles away, novel idea ?? Mind you I don't expect you need artificial waves where you are !!??

Hi All I am hoping that someone out there knows whats wrong with my truck. 2000 TD4 :mad: Before Christmas we thought the starter motor was on the blink as you would turn the key, and just that dreaded ..... click. Try it a few times and the engine started. This was not happening...
